The IR reports that Northwestern Energy is not going to increase rate as planned. I’ll be the first to say this is a good action, however, before we award them for their corportate responsibility, a few notes…
1. As the IR correctly notes, there has been a 35% increase since last summer, even without the new increase.
2. The shameful complaining by Northwestern Energy about their tax hikes is awful. They reported on their *statements* last month that their hikes are due to tax bills and that’s the mantra they repeat when you question any bill.
