Thanks, Jason. We’ve missed you.
Today, in the article about Keenan’s decision to enter the Senate race, he immediately went on the attack, saying of Bob Keenan:
“We have many differences with all of our opponents and we call on them to honor Montanans by making their views known,” said Burns’ spokesman Jason Klindt. “Conrad Burns has voted to lower taxes; Bob Keenan has a record of voting to increase your taxes. He will need to explain to Montanans why he thinks the government needs more of their money.”
Later Matt Gouras mentions in the article that Klindt didn’t bother to specifiy the tax increases. HINT TO MATT GOURAS AND OTHER REPORTERS: Call him and ask him to give you the specifics. If he won’t do it, don’t run his self-serving, pathetic press releases.
Finally, though, Klindt attacks Jon Tester and John Morrison for not taking positions on the issues. That makes sense, given Conrad’s inability to decide on the Dubai port deal and his firm stand against spam.
Give me a break.
