Dennis Rehberg on Pedophile Congressmen: Take Your Time Actually Stopping Them

in Denny Rehberg, MT Politics, The Hateful Right, Those Wacky Republicans

Congressman Dennis Rehberg thinks that the House Republican leadership acted quickly to deal with Mark Foley:

Some have been calling for the resignation of House Speaker Dennis Hastert as pressure mounts to determine what House leaders knew, and when, about Foley’s behavior.
Rehberg said it is important to find out everything about the case, make sure it doesn’t happen again and to make sure elected leaders are held to a high standard. But he said it is premature to lay blame on House leaders.
Rehberg said he believes Republicans moved quickly to get Foley to resign.

Talk about partisan blinders. Even now

our bold, moral Congressman will not speak out against Hastert, House Majority Leader John Boehner or RCCC Chair Tom Reynolds, all of whom knew about the allegations against Foley and not only refused to deal with them, but covered them up.

Dennis Rehberg is an embarassment to our state, placing the interests of a political party above protecting children. His unwillingness to condemn these GOP leaders is craven and despicable. Please consider contacting Congressman Rehberg to let him know that politics should never come before the safety of children:

I think your a victim of the dreaded typo.

You mean RNCC chair Reynolds, no DCCC chair. Better be careful, or pretty soon you’re going to be as bad as fox news.
