I had Open House tonight at school and so I didn’t catch all of the debate, but I want to make a couple of quick notes of what I did hear:
1. Burns sounds awful. Between the stuttering, lack of subject-verb agreement or awkward phrasing, Burns is a shameful spokeman for Montana.
2. Why on Earth was Burns allowed to break the rules twice? Listen to the debate: Burns was allowed to respond to Tester twice after he was supposed to be done and when Tester asked to do the same, he was denied. IT IS NOT TOUGH: FOLLOW YOUR OWN ESTABLISHED RULES.
3. Tester was anywhere from average to very solid.

Yes, I would say that he was as solid and strong as I have heard him, especially when it came to the questions on Iraq and Abromoff. He handled himself very well.
