For the first time in its three year history, 6th Avenue’s blog has won its company’s top award for news coverage.
Intelligent Discontent won the Pogreba Enterprises Award for Excellence in snide remarks, Don Pogreba announced today.
Come on, people. This is embarrassing. Front page, no less.

I bet if you try really hard, you will win two years in a row.
It’s kind of like St. Pete’s emergency room winning awards for hospital excellence. They must be from its own board of directors, because everyone else thinks the hospital sucks. Key criteria: we killed three fewer patients on the table in Sept. 07 than in Sept. 06.
