An article in the Helena Independent Record today, entitled ‘Poll: Many undecided in US House Race,’ offered some more good news and analysis regarding Hunt’s battle against Rehberg:
…a sizeable chunk of voters — 23 percent — are undecided in a race that hasn’t had much publicity
While Rehberg is a solid favorite to win re-election, his 52 percent number is relatively low for an incumbent without a well-known challenger, said Brad Coker, managing director for Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C.
“That probably reflects a backlash against Republicans (nationwide),” Coker said. “Republicans are a little nervous. As they say, the Republican brand right now is suffering.”
Coker said he expects Hunt will start closing the 32-percent gap once voters get to know him and realize he’s the Democratic opponent to Rehberg.
Hunt’s biggest obstacle is name recognition, which should gradually change. It’s up to those who support Hunt to help his campaign spread, be it through word of mouth, volunteering, donations, etc. etc.
Rehberg is weaker than he has ever - this is our time for change and we need to take on some of the burdenin order to get Rehberg out and Hunt into office.

I understand Mr. Hunt has made some wise decisions about his campaign. I wish him all the best and total success.
