I haven’t been a big fan of Nader for sometime now and it’s not because he ‘lost’ 2000 for us, the Democrats, it’s because he has effectively destroyed the Green Party with his egoism and, well, he’s an awful egoist.

But after reading some of the remarks he made recently in the Rocky Mountain city of Denver, I had to think, “this is the guy some far-left Democrats and liberals still support? I can’t believe it.”

Obama responded beautifully and pinned Nader for what he is - an attention starved child,

“First of all, what’s clear is Ralph Nader hasn’t been paying attention to my speeches,” Obama said. “Ralph Nader is trying to get attention. … It’s a shame, because if you look at his legacy in terms of consumer protection, it’s an extraordinary one. But at this point, he’s somebody who’s trying to get attention.”
