While bullying in schools is hardly a laughing matter, Roy Brown’s campaign sure is a joke that keeps on giving. Last week, I wrote that Brown was running for 4th grade hall monitor, given his penchant for calling Governor Schweitzer a big meany, going so far as to deploy a web site for online reporting.
It turns out that I wasn’t far off. From Education Week:
Hoping to combat the “snitch” label that often leads to silent suffering, six Utah schools have introduced a Web site that allows students to anonymously report bullies.
A Brigham Young University student, Justin Bergener, created the site, which also lets students post information about thefts, drugs and harassment.
Bergener said he hopes students who might otherwise be too scared or shy to speak up will be willing to post on the site.
“There really is this culture and code of silence that’s particularly prevalent in middle schools and high schools,” Bergener said.
Roy Brown: the best Montana’s Republican Party could do. Think about that for a minute.

Have you ever considered writing an e-book or guest authoring on other sites? I have a blog centered on the same information you discuss and would love to have you share some stories/information. I know my subscribers would appreciate your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to send me an email.
I’d incessantly want to be update on new blog posts on this site, bookmarked ! .
Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something informative to read?
