You’ve just got to love Dennis Rehberg:
U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg, a Republican, voted against the omnibus bill in the House he said in a release the legislation included too much spending but said he supported the Montana infrastructure projects he helped include in the bill.
That man is a thinker. And consistent.
And I love the Montana Meth Project:
The bill includes $1 million in funding for the Montana Meth Project, which will use the money to continue to create, produce and display advertisements aimed at preventing Montana teenagers from ever trying the drug.
Slaughter, a former director of the Montana Department of Corrections, said Shea has been an asset to the organization and is being retained as a consultant during the leadership transition.
Two thoughts: 1) Does the million from the federal government mean they can stop hitting up the state legislature? 2) It’s good to see the money is already being planned for a worthy cause, because they certainly haven’t spent enough on staffing at the MMP.
