While five years and 1300 posts at this site may have given the impression that my only passions in life are mocking Dennis “The Prince of the Rimrocks” Rehberg and tweaking the local newspaper, education and the ongoing debate about education reform has always been of great interest to me and I’ve wanted to do more writing and thinking about the subject.

To that end, I’ve started a new blog in which I hope to take a look at national and local educational issues. Prairie Pedagogue will be a place for my thoughts about effective teaching, education law and reform, and yes, mockery of those who deserve it.

Ideally, both sites will remain lively and interesting, but as always, the demands of the school year may well determine just how frequently I post. In the meantime, I hope those of you who visit here will keep stopping by and that you’ll take a peek at my education site.

My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.

I found your post to be straight forward and right on. When I’ve got some time later I’ll write a more in depth comment with my own opinions on the topic, but for now..good job!
