Just when I thought this collection of bigots, idiots, and conspiracy theorists couldn’t embarrass the state any more than they already have, Representative Janna Taylor came along to say something so stupid and offensive that she made Tim Ravndal seem like a rational human being.

Why do we need the death penalty? To stop HIV-positive prisoners from killing guards with blow darts.

How can you have a rational debate with someone like that? You can’t.

How can discourse happen in the absence of reason? It can’t.
