I suspect there are certain things no one forgets, among them:

  • the nervous feeling on your first date.
  • graduating from high school.
  • your marriage and birth of your children.
  • whether or not you’ve ever been a drug dealer.

Apparently James Knox, Representative from Billings, can’t remember with precision whether the last one happened or not:

Knox said he has never tried to hide the fact that he experimented with alcohol and a variety of drugs in his youth, but he said he stopped using drugs when his daughter was born. He also said marijuana ruined the life of his brother, who has used it steadily since he started smoking pot in the fifth grade.
Asked if he, Knox, ever sold marijuana, Knox said, “No, not that I can recall.”

Not that he can recall? If someone asked me whether I had sold marijuana or not, I could tell them categorically that I had not, but Representative Knox is going full-Ollie North on that one? Sounds like his e-mails aren’t the only things that should come with legal disclaimers.

Fun, totally unrelated fact. What does Family Doctor.org list as its first common side effect of marijuana use?

Trouble remembering things.

Your Montana GOP Legislature in action.

Direct from James Knox’s Facebook page.

I . . . Love sushi, good liquor, cigars and friends. I figure I should have a cigar for every meaningful moment in my life…my humidor has about 2600 in it and plenty of space left. I have emptied it at least twice.

But I am living…large!

I can be a terrible speller. I would of flunked college English if it was not for the computer labs spell check. I am a techno geek so thank you who ever invented the spellchecker!

Looks like, sounds like, must be just another drunken klanbagger.

Cannabis is a PLANT, no matter what the corporations and fearful folks do, they will never kill this PLANT. However, they seem quite adept at killing HOPE. My friends, do not let ANYONE, especially these nanny, parent spouting maniacs kill YOUR hope. Never has anyone killed mine. Not five detached retinas, glaucoma and one blind eye. SAY IT proudly,
NOTHING can kill my HOPE>

I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome weblog!
